Dr Geraint Jones

Geraint joined the company in September 2005 and has 13 years of drug discovery experience gained in biotechnology companies and CROs. He was promoted to Principal Research Chemist in 2009, became a Chemistry Group Lead in 2011 and was promoted to Associate Director of Chemistry in 2013. In 2015 Geraint was appointed Director of Chemistry.

Prior to joining Sygnature, Geraint undertook laboratory-based R&D chemistry at British Biotech Pharmaceuticals, Evotec OAI and Maybridge. He is an experienced medicinal chemist and has managed many long-term and successful FTE-based projects for clients based in the USA and Europe. Geraint has a BSc (Hons.) in chemistry and a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry from Cardiff University.
